Newcastle reaction
Paul Heckingbottom felt there were a number of positives in defeat against Newcastle United on Wednesday evening, but acknowledged the Blades needed to score the opening goal when in the ascendency.
United started positively at St James' Park and created a number of early chances, before Arsenal loanee Joe Willock scored what proved to be the only goal of the contest deep into first-half stoppage-time.
Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale produced another outstanding display between the sticks and his superb form in recent months hasn't gone unnoticed by the interim boss, who has described overall contribution of the England U21 international this season as 'excellent'.
Meanwhile, George Baldock missed out in the north-east as a precaution because of a tight hamstring, but Heckingbottom is optimistic the defender will be available for Sunday's Premier League finale against Burnley.
