The London born operator became United's tenth summer when he arrived on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace, with United fighting off serious competition for his signature.

Having progressed through the ranks at Selhurst Park, Rak-Sakyi made his Premier League debut against Chelsea at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign, before making his full bow against Manchester United.

But it was during a 49-game loan stint at Charlton Athletic where he really announced himself, scoring 15 times and creating a further eight goals, a contribution that saw him win the Player of the Year award.
