Dewhurst has risen through the ranks with the Blades over the years, regularly keeping goal for the U18s and U21s, whilst on occasions has made the bench for the first team.

The stopper has enjoyed several loan spells during his time as a United player, making 41 appearances over two seasons for Guiseley, before stepping into the EFL with Carlisle United.

He was also a hit at Boston United and was a regular for Scunthorpe United last season.
