Full-back Waldron has risen through the ranks of the United academy and after captaining the under 18s started to make the step up more regularly to the under 21s last season, making a big impact with an assist in the Professional Development League national final against Birmingham City last season.

An all-action player, Waldron will get up and down the right-hand side to both start attacks and stop them at the other end.
