Commanding left-sided centre-back Miguel Freckleton joined the Blades from Mangotsfield United in December 2021 and went straight into the reckoning in the under 21s.

Since then, the defender has enjoyed several loans, helping Chesterfield to promotion back to the EFL last season. He returned to United towards the end of the campaign and signed a new two-year deal in the summer before heading out to the EFL for a senior loan with Swindon Town ahead of the new campaign.
