Young defender Issy Hobson joined the Blades in January 2025 on loan from Everton for the second half of the 2024/25 season.

The centre-back made several senior appearances for the Toffees throughout 2024, famously scoring a last-minute equaliser on her first start against Arsenal and subsequently becoming the youngest goal scorer in the league's history.

Hobson also earned her first call-up for England's Under 19s towards the back end of last year.
