Young attacking midfielder Liv Edwards enjoyed a very promising season in the Professional Game Academy last season, scoring 14 goals in 21 starts for then Ash Thompson's side and earning several appearances in the first team squad, where she made her debut in the Continental League Cup against Blackburn Rovers

Edwards was a key member of the United Under 21s team and had a brief dual registration move to FA Women's National League side Huddersfield Town.
