Maria Francis-Jones joined Sheffield United in July 2022 on a dual-registration agreement from Barclays FA Women's Super League side Manchester City.

Formerly of Cardiff City, Francis-Jones joined City's academy in the summer of 2021 and spent a period at Blackburn Rovers during the 2021/22 campaign before injury cut short her campaign.

She is already a senior Wales international.
