It was 'job done' according to boss Chris Wilder who saw his side advance into the FA Cup quarter-finals following an extra time victory at Reading.
The Blades boss hailed striker David McGoldrick after he notched a fully deserved his first goal of the season, whilst also reserved praise for the likes of Ben Osborn and Luke Freeman who returned to the starting line-up.
Wilder underlined his pre-match point about the game being tough, stressing United's attention to detail in not underpreparing for the challenge of Reading as the key for winning what was an expected close fifth round tie.
