FAQs
Watching Live
Owing to changes made as part of the new broadcasting rights cycle, supporters in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Channel Isles can no longer live stream matches through SUTV.
Supporters based outside of these territories will be able to video stream Sheffield United matches this season, providing those matches are not being broadcasted in their region elsewhere. Video streaming packages are available as seasonal and one-off match passes.
Supporters based in an “unsold market” (see below for details) can watch every Sheffield United league match this season.
Supporters based in a “key territory” (see below for details) can watch non-televised matches and midweek matches that are selected for TV broadcast.
Supporters based in domestic regions can watch a number of Sheffield United’s matches as part of a Sky Sports package, which now includes a new dedicated channel (Sky Sports+).
A new broadcast agreement in the USA means all matches will be made available on TV, however, supporters based in the USA will be able to access certain matches through SUTV depending on the nature of each match’s TV selection.
Cup Games
Live audio commentary will be available for Cup fixtures, but due to current broadcasting regulations, there will be no video streaming for these matches.
Who can listen to live audio commentary on SUTV?
Live audio commentary is available for streaming everywhere.
Supporters with a SUTV Audio subscription can benefit from live audio commentary as part of their monthly package as well as a full match replay of league games the following day.
A seasonal audio commentary subscription is available for £45.

I'm having issues with my video feed – what should I do?
During the game, please report your technical issues to Support directly, who will investigate on your behalf. If there are no issues found with the broadcast itself, you will need to complete troubleshooting steps, which may involve confirming details about your device, software and internet connection.
System requirements?
Your device needs to comply with the following minimum system requirements:
- Operating Systems: Windows 8.1 or later, Mac 9+
- Browsers: latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (Internet Explorer and Opera are not supported for Live Video)
- Mobiles & Tablets Operating Systems: Android 6+, iOS 9+ *some OS may still not be supported by manufacturer.
What are the internet connection requirements?
You will require a WiFi or broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 1.2mbps with latency not exceeding 100ms for SD, and 4mbps with latency not exceeding 50ms for HD.

Key Territories
The following regions are classified as “key territories” and therefore can stream midweek matches that are selected for TV broadcast, in addition to all non-televised league matches:
Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan, South Sudan, Tunisia, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Chad, Djibouti, Somalia, Palestine, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, France, the French Territories (excluding the Non-Exclusive French Territories), Poland, Iceland and the Netherlands.
Unsold Markets
The following regions are classified as “unsold markets” and therefore can stream all league matches:
Albania, American Samoa, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brunei, Cambodia, Cape Verde, China, Christmas Islands, Cocos Islands, Cook Islands, Cyprus, DACH, East Timor, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Gambia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guam, Italy, Kiribati Islands, Laos, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Islands, North Korea, North Mariana Islands, Palau, Papa New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Poland, Republic of South Sudan, Samoa, Socotra, Soloman Islands, South Tyrol, Spain, Switzerland, Tahiti, Taiwan, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvala, Vanuata, Vietnam, Wallis & Futuna, Western Samoa
